Oxford Connections: People & places is a brand-new program that will provide all the teacher and student resources needed to explicitly teach the full humanities curriculum, while embedding and developing core literacy skills.
Cut through a packed curriculum with integrated literacy learning – the program features engaging age-appropriate Student Workbooks with reading passages, source materials and activities that inspire curiosity and help students understand how people, places and connections shape our world. Students gain more than content knowledge – they build confidence in reading, writing and comprehension, empowering success across the curriculum.
Teachers are supported by extensive digital teacher resources, that are curated and ready-to-use, designed to ease workload and build confidence in addressing complex and sensitive topics.

The program is centred on a knowledge-rich curriculum that emphasises a strong foundation of factual and conceptual knowledge to support deeper understanding, skill development and long-term retension.
Lessons are structured around the Gradual Release of Responsibility model, moving learners from guided instruction to independent application.
